Restylane Surgery Procedure

Have you noticed changes in your appearance that you would like to halt or reverse? If there was a non-surgical procedure that would improve your appearance and help you look your best would you want to learn more?

Restylane is a revolutionary nonsurgical solution that can dramatically improve the look of your face. With Restylane injections you could be weeks away from a more youthful look and help decrease some signs of aging.

How Does Restylane Work?

Restylane has been used for many years in more than 9 million procedures worldwide. In fact, it is considered the number one selling dermal filler in the world.

The main ingredient in Restylane is hyaluronic acid, a substance found in human skin. Restylane is a crystal clear gel injected into the skin to lift the lip, wrinkle or fold. Once the product is in the skin, it works with your body's own hyaluronic acid; this process helps to create volume.

If you are interested in a dermal filler like Restylane, a physician, trained in Restylane injections will meet with you to discuss the areas you feel need

work. Once the treatment area is chosen, the Physician will inject the Restylane into the area. The amount of Restylane used, will depend entirely on the patient's needs. The treatment session will likely be about thirty minutes.

After treatment, it is important to exactly follow the doctor's instructions. Generally, the only post treatment symptoms that patients experience include swelling, redness, pain, discoloration, itching and tenderness. These symptoms usually don't last for longer than one week and tend to be mild.

What Areas can Restylane Help?

Restylane is proven to add volume to the skin tissue. Many clients use it to restore facial contours, reduce the appearance of wrinkles or to enhance their lips. In the Montgomery ENT Center, we use Restylane to treat the forehead, cheeks, jaw line, chin, lips, as well as the lines running from your nose to the corners of the mouth.

How to Proceed

If you are interested in finding out more about Restylane and how it can help you, book an appointment for a consultation. During the consultation, the doctor will ask questions about your medical history, and will ask about your goals for your appearance. It is important to be honest, open and direct and give the doctor a clear understanding of what you hope to achieve. It is vital that you feel comfortable with your doctor and that you think you could gain a supportive patient doctor relationship with him or her.

After you and your physician have discussed your treatment options and you have selected a course of treatment, you can book your first session. Restylane procedures are in office and on an outpatient basis. The number of treatments you need will depend on your needs and your doctor's recommendations.
