Angela Byrd, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Angela joined Montgomery ENT Center in July of 2005. Angela
is a member of ASHA – American Speech-Language Hearing Association
and American Academy of Audiology. She obtained her undergraduate
degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington
in Seattle in 2001. Angela completed her Master’s degree
in Audiology from Central Institute for the Deaf at Washington
University in St. Louis in 2003. Her fellowship year was
completed at Ohio Valley Voices working with cochlear implant recipients
and hearing impaired children.
Prior to joining our team of professionals, Angela’s compassion
for people was very evident through the assistance she provided
in the development of a new program that serves long term care
facilities throughout southeastern Indiana. A recent reflection
of her dedication to Audiology was seen when she completed her
Doctorate through the University of Florida in December of 2007.
Amy N. Holland, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Amy obtained her Bachelors degree in Communication
Sciences and Disorders from the University of Cincinnati in 2005. She
joined Montgomery ENT Center in June of 2008 to complete her clinical
training. She enjoyed our staff and patients so much, that
she decided to stay on board as a Clinical Audiologist after earning
her Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Cincinnati
in June of 2009. The University’s rigorous clinical
requirements gave Amy experience in a myriad of clinical settings
including neonatal intensive care units (NICU), long term care
facilities, newborn hearing screenings, private practice, community
outreach programs, and hospital acute care units. Amy has
also completed research in the areas of pediatric cochlear implants
and hearing conservation and protection. She is dedicated
to providing the highest quality of care for all our patients. |
